I apologize I haven't been posting the TMS updates as they have come out. Today I updated the Supported Models page with all newly supported models by TMS.
Here I will go over what's new in each release.

CID36 flash files into OTP CID49 phones and they getting a normal error
(credit was NOT deducted). Please be aware that if OTP CID 49 phone is
detected there is no way to flash inside CID36 flash files.
Anyway this should be not a problem because TMS has latest firmware releases
available in CID 49 version.

You know I get asked alot: "what is cell phone unlocking, and how exactly does it benefit me?" And I always give the same answer:
Cell phone Unlocking, (AKA: subsidy unlocking, or service provider (SP) unlocking) basically allows you to use your phone with any SIM card you want! One important thing to know about "unlocking" is that it only applies to GSM networks. So for those of us here in the United States that means that phones from Cingular, and T-Mobile can be unlocked. Ok, I know there are a few other GSM providers here in the States such as: Dobson Wireless, Suncom, EDGE wirless, etc. So if you happen to be one of the few folks on those networks then this applies to you as well. As a rule of thumb any phone that has a SIM card is GSM and can be unlocked (only one exception I know of is Nextel's IDEN network which is mostly CDMA, but also uses a SIM card.) I know it sounds simple, so what's all the fuss about?}
well the fact that the ability to use your phone with any SIM card gives you an enormous amount of flexibility and versatility. Think about this...Unlocking your phone benefits you in the following ways: - It Increases the resale value of your phone by as much as 200% - It's a fact, go and do a search online you will see that unlocked phones sell for a higher price than those that are locked to a specific network. The reason for this is pretty straight foreword. Think about it. Would you rather have a phone that can only be used with one specific service provider or would you rather have the option to use the phone with whatever GSM carrier you choose!
- It allows you to use a foreign SIM card when you are traveling abroad. Why use your domestic carriers international roaming service and pay between $.99 per min and $4.99 per min? If you phone is unlocked then you can pick up a prepaid SIM card and save yourself a small fortune on roaming charges. Not to mention it will make dialing locally much easier.
- You'll be able to use your phone with prepaid GSM services here in the US. If you've read the front page of this site then hopefully you've seen how unlocking my phone helped me stay connected while I was in a place that my carrier simply doesn't serve. My solution: simply use a prepaid card from another carrier and have my incoming calls forwarded. EASY!
I could go on, and on listing specific situations where having an unlocked phone could potentially save the day! Another Highly anticipated and much appreciated update by the Total Server team!
Direct Unlocking of w810 and z530 is now supported by TMS software. of course you must use a 2in1 Multi-server cable and 1 TMS credit.

Also added to the TMS 2.13 client is the ability to Flash both w810 and z530! So you can now unbrand, upgrade and change the language of both of these phones!
And finally, the usb flashing function of TMS has been greatly improved. Errors while flashing have been heavily reduced and the speed of firmware flashing by usb cables has been increased by 3x. So flashing times are now reduced by 3x!

Total Multi-Server 2.08 Now supports Unlocking: w900i |

Another Highly anticipated update from the world famous TMS team. another worlds first for remote server solutions: direct unlocking of w900i and of k608i (cid 49) unlocking of cingular w600i has also been greatly improved.
k608i unlocking can be done via DSC-11 serial cable. W900i and w600i Unlocking MUST Be done through a 2in1 Multi-server cable.
For a while there the dcu-60 cable was able to unlock w600i, but it didn't last long and proved to be unreliable, which is the reason I never really promoted it or mentioned it very much. DCU-6 Unlocking has been completely removed from v2.08.

We've all been waiting for it. and it's now here: Total Multi-Server now supports Unlocking CID 48 phones: w600a/i/c and w550i/c This is another worlds first for TMS as this is the first remote server to support Unlocking these phones without opening the phone and without confusing test points. |
